Take a walk down the alleyway behind the Cottonwood Junction Antique and Consignment Store at 141 N. Main Street, Pocatello Idaho in the Old Town District and you will experience something truly remarkable, an outdoor art gallery. Welcome to Old Town Alley: Urban Outdoor Art Gallery!
It is the creative vision of Michael Haas, owner of Cottonwood Junction Antique and Consignment Store, and Heidi Yerbich, a local artist. Old Town Alley consists of painted murals, graffiti, and public art created by talented mostly local artists in August 2019.
Old Town Alley’s Murals are a permanent part of the Pocatello’s Old Town cityscape but are intended to be rotating art exhibits with new murals replacing or integrating into older murals every few years. Old Town Alley was made possible by a grant from the Pocatello Arts Council.
