Over the last 20 years a group of hard-working Pocatello citizens have restored, maintained, and highlighted almost 25 neon signs in the downtown Pocatello area. Come and take a self-guided tour of these beautiful and classic works of “branding art” and enjoy some of the downtown shops, breweries, and restaurants while you stroll.

Fort Hall Replica

The Fort Hall Replica and Historical Complex are open May – October at the upper Ross Park area in Pocatello. Established in 1922 this location features the Fort Hall Replica and Trading Post, The Pocatello Junction Townsite (at ¾ scale walkable replica of the original townsite) and the Bannock County Historical Museum.  Bring your pioneering spirit and get ready for a taste of the way things used to be.

Walking the Portneuf Greenway paved trails

The Local Greenway organization (The Portneuf Greenway Foundation) is proudly run by a huge group of community-minded volunteers who are excited to share this amazing asset with visitors and locals alike. As of 2026 the paved walking paths along the Portneuf greenway trail system are now almost 20 miles long! The trails are shared by walkers, runners and bikers.  Pets are welcome to those who keep them on a leash. Please clean up after your pets and share the trails.

Finding Bigfoot

While there have been reported Bigfoot sightings all over the USA, there is a more constant and overt presence of the big, friendly, furball in Pocatello than anywhere else! The Idaho Museum of Natural History

Idaho Museum of Natural History (IMNH) ever-changing exhibitions emphasize the collections and mission of the Museum, and include permanent and special offerings. Educational classes for children, families, and adults provide more in-depth exploration of the natural history of Idaho (see the website for a current schedule).

The IMNH is also home to collections in Anthropology, Earth Sciences, and Life Sciences and maintains an archive which documents its history as well as the history of the collections. Researchers pursue scholarly study of the collections and publish their findings in peer-reviewed and museum-sponsored publications.

When it comes to Family Fun, Outer Limits has got it figured out! This place is huge. With all of the kid’s favorite arcade-type games, laser tag, bowling, golf, darts, and more.  But let’s not forget the food.  Their food is over-the-top delicious too! (ya gotta try the wings and potatoes).

The most visited year-round family attraction in the city of Chubbuck! Geronimo’s has tons of trampolines, parking, lockers, snacks, and fun for your little ones to come and get the wiggles out.
