#1
The East Fork Mink Creek Nordic Center has been upgraded, updated, staffed, and groomed for an excellent weekend of winter family fun. Run by the City of Pocatello’s outdoor department and upgraded by a generous donation from Idaho Central Credit Union, they’ve recently added new Yurts and a hooty-duty groomer to keep the trails in great shape. Full rental shop with skis, boots, tubes, etc., etc. You can even do an overnight winter yurt camp – just like a REAL Idahoan!

Wow! If that sounds like a lot of options for places to eat and drink – you’re right, it is! The best part is everyone knows you’ve got to offer good quality and prices to stay in business in the food & beverage industry. Pocatello’s downtown section has a couple of beloved breweries and there are tons of one-of-a-kind eateries that any of the locals will point you towards. Of course, we have all of the national franchises speckled throughout the city. Nope, you are NOT going to go hungry here. Check out our online dining guide or download one to your phone and take it with you. You can even print it out and put it under your pillow. Sweet dreams!

Good old-fashioned Roller skating at Deleta
#3
Deleta is a Pocatello icon that’s been in business for years and years. With a beautiful wood floor, new neon lights, a stellar sound system, a snack bar, and a very helpful staff. It’s like a blast from the past with a modern twist. And in keeping up with the times, they now have escape rooms and games to add some variety to your visit to one of Pocatello’s favorite family fun spots!

Live Dinner Theater at the Palace Theatre
#4
A top-of-the-line dinner theater right here in Eastern Idaho! If you go once, you’ll definitely be back. This group creates an outstanding experience from the lights, to the sound, acting, sets, scripts, delivery and the dinner – yum! I personally LOVE the prime rib. Make and evening of it and you’ll be glad you did. Please book as early as you can, these folks sell out consistently.

Take the kids to Geronimo’s Trampoline Park!
#6
Jump. Sleep. Repeat! That’s the slogan for this awesome 11,000-square-foot trampoline park! Mom and Dad can watch those kiddoes get their wiggle out and burn off that energy they’ve had pent up from driving down the freeway to Pocatello. They have a great snack bar too. With games & attractions like slam dunk basketball, Battle-beams, and dodgeball, there’s always something new and fun at Geronimo’s! An adult must sign a waiver before the kids can jump… but that’s OK because Geronimo’s is nothing but fun!

The Idaho Museum of Natural History on the ISU campus. Dinosaur bones, Bugs, skeletons, toys, skulls, puzzles, and a big prehistoric shark with teeth like a buzz-saw! Focus on education, the Museum is the eastern Idaho curator for eastern Idaho fossils and artifacts. Always great for kids during the cold-weather months.

Tour the Museum of Clean!
Well known as a tourism attraction in the City of Pocatello! This is the world’s one-and-only Museum of Clean. The brainchild of Idaho’s “Millionaire janitor” (Don Aslett) features an amazing collection of antique vacuums, cleaning apparatus, and related items that – well, you just gotta see to believe. This museum was created by refurbishing and upgrading an old warehouse in the old Downtown district of Pocatello. It’s never looked better than it does right now! Lots and lots of stuff for kids and grownups too. Check their schedule for hours, tickets, and special events & exhibits.
